Welcome to the Signavio Idea Portal

When it comes to developing our product, your opinion is incredibly important to us. Therefore, we’ve created this portal so you can have an active role. Here you can give us inspiration by sharing your ideas about how you think the Signavio Process Manager could be improved. As well as this, you’re also welcome to evaluate the existing suggestions.

The selection process works as follows:
If an idea receives enough votes, it gets passed on to our team of developers. They then review it to see whether implementing the idea would actually be possible, and if so, how quickly. You receive feedback in the form of a comment in the Idea Portal about this as soon as possible. If our team decides to implement the idea, your suggestion is then processed and we’ll inform you once again, once the suggested function has actually been implemented.

It’s always worth commenting, even if it’s only the ideas with the most votes that are implemented. Taking part is always worthwhile, as we often use the pool of ideas as inspiration for product innovation, such as for the Collaboration Hub.

You’ve got an idea? Please share it with us!

Enhancements which can be helpful for better process tracking

If I share the process with 5 people, 1st person comments on it on first day, then 2nd person comments on it the second day, but in the expanded view of the process, I can just see the total no. of comments. In this way I have to open the process everyday and check for the delta comments. It would be very helpful if in the expanded view I can see the task where the comment is made, by whom and what is the comment or the ...more »

Use process variables for reminders, escalation and intermediate timer events rather than fixed values

At present, reminders, escalation and intermediate timer events only accept fixed values pre-configured in the workflow. If duration variables could be referenced (calculated from dates), the workflow would be more dynamic and responsive to the needs of the particular case. For example, I could capture a review deadline and automatically schedule a reminder or escalation based on this date i.e. the deadline minus one ...more »

Easier navigation from diagram in Collaboration Hub to the same diagram in Explorer

While viewing a diagram in the Collaboration Hub there should be a link to take you directly to the corresponding folder in the Explorer with the diagram marked. This would make it much easier to navigate to the diagram in question, rather than searching through all of the diagrams in the Explorer to find the one you're looking for. Especially if you're unsure of which folder contains the diagram you're after.

Extension of the comment invitation function

Since we work a lot with comment links for new processes, I would like to submit two suggestions for improvement: - A way to create comment links directly from the process or the Explorer, which you can then send yourself via his mail system. - A feature to re-send (or create) the link to people who have already been invited, as some people will get rid of the mail and ask me to re-submit links.

Change the subject of commenting emails

When I post a link to comment on multiple diagrams, the subject line is always "Sebastian Fochler invites you to comment on 2 diagrams" in the mail. I do not think that's good, because then you can not read on the subject of mail, which topic or process it is. It would be good if in the window that opens, if I invite someone to comment, in addition to the addressee and the mail text could also enter the subject.

Allow Decision tables to be imported from Excel

My customer does not yet use Signavio, so I am modelling decision logic using Excel only but the tables are faithful to the Input/Output structure found in Signavio.

Once my customer purchases Signavio licenses, I will need to reproduce all their decision logic inside the DMN Editor and it would reduce my work considerably if I could import each Decision table from Excel.

Display Input Data items inside the Decision shape

DMN allows two styles for listing the input data required by a decision. The original style is to attach an Input Data shape to the Decision shape and this is the style Signavio uses. However, when a Decision requires a lot of inputs, this clutters the diagram. The other style is to list the input data items as line items within the Decision shape itself, which produces a larger Decision shape but a less cluttered diagram. ...more »
