If I share the process with 5 people, 1st person comments on it on first day, then 2nd person comments on it the second day, but in the expanded view of the process, I can just see the total no. of comments. In this way I have to open the process everyday and check for the delta comments. It would be very helpful if in the expanded view I can see the task where the comment is made, by whom and what is the comment or the ...more »
When calling a diagram, which has been edited in the meantime you have to choose which version you want. Here it would be good to be able to open the revision comparison to look at the 2 versions and decide which one rejects.
When I post a link to comment on multiple diagrams, the subject line is always "Sebastian Fochler invites you to comment on 2 diagrams" in the mail. I do not think that's good, because then you can not read on the subject of mail, which topic or process it is. It would be good if in the window that opens, if I invite someone to comment, in addition to the addressee and the mail text could also enter the subject.
Signavio's EPC template is still showing the traditional notation for EPC's. When importing an Aris EPC diagram into Signavio it is displayed in the old version of EPC instead of the newer version.
It happens often that you are modeling a process and realize that some activities actually would better be grouped into a subprocess. The current way to do this is relatively cumbersome.
It would be great if there was a shortcut for grouping activities into a subprocess. I would imagine being able to select the activities in question and activate the shortcut.
If the Documentation field for a collapsed subprocess is empty, it could automatically use the Documentation field of the process being referred to, so you can avoid duplicate documentation. This could for example be done with the same logic as the Dictionary (linked data which can be overwritten locally).
At the moment it is only possible to add a line at the end of your Editor for Attributes property of the Complex Class. This is very un user friendly. So if you want a line in between two other lines. You have to redo everything.
Our process map is structured in such a way that individual processes (eg enter A07.01 order) occur several times in the individual end-to-end processes (eg process for standard products or project business). All attributes (such as the description) must now be maintained individually for each end-to-end process, which is very time-consuming and error-prone, especially for changes. It would be useful if, at the level ...more »
In the editor window, the "Attributes" bar on the right is hidden by default. We would like you to open by default. The preferred state should be configurable.
Autocomplete glossary entries should work better. This applies both to "in-line glossary links" (book symbol eg to activity) and to attributes of the type "glossary reference". - the (similarity) search does not work reliably: blanks, umlauts etc. distort the search results. - Even if multiple search results are found, "Create new entry" should be proposed.
During the convention check of the process diagram, the list of notes, warnings and errors is displayed in the lower area as the result. After every change in the diagram resulting from the execution of the list from the convention check, the user is asked to update the list of notes, warnings and errors. As long as the list is not updated, no further entries can be clicked on and the errors are no longer displayed in ...more »
After a custom modeling convention is created, it can not be renamed anymore.
