Allow Decision tables to be imported from Excel

My customer does not yet use Signavio, so I am modelling decision logic using Excel only but the tables are faithful to the Input/Output structure found in Signavio.

Once my customer purchases Signavio licenses, I will need to reproduce all their decision logic inside the DMN Editor and it would reduce my work considerably if I could import each Decision table from Excel.

Display Input Data items inside the Decision shape

DMN allows two styles for listing the input data required by a decision. The original style is to attach an Input Data shape to the Decision shape and this is the style Signavio uses. However, when a Decision requires a lot of inputs, this clutters the diagram. The other style is to list the input data items as line items within the Decision shape itself, which produces a larger Decision shape but a less cluttered diagram. ...more »

Missing PDF export for decision table

If you apply the PDF export function to a DMN diagram, you will get a BPMN-like view of the used input variables. If modeled, a tree-like concatenation of decision tables is displayed as well. The important thing, the decision table (s) themselves with the case distinctions, their criteria and result definitions, is not exportable today. There is also no way to copy out the prepared decision table formatted by copy & ...more »

Attributes for Multi Instance Decision

Currently the Multi Instance Decision has an attribute for Input List, which is based on the Inputs of the single Decision model in the Multi Instance Decision. However in most cases, it is the Output List that is required from the multiple instance of the single Decision (Decision A in diagram), and the aggregation of these output to be used for the other Decision (Decision B in diagram) depending on these outputs.
