At present, reminders, escalation and intermediate timer events only accept fixed values pre-configured in the workflow. If duration variables could be referenced (calculated from dates), the workflow would be more dynamic and responsive to the needs of the particular case. For example, I could capture a review deadline and automatically schedule a reminder or escalation based on this date i.e. the deadline minus one ...more »
Hi We have experienced issues with the version and release control of our process architecture (value chain models) and workflow models (BPMN models). Examples include multiple people doing work on copies of the same model at the same time. This results in wasted effort and inconsistent engagement with stakeholders such as process owners. This is really a management issue but could be mitigated by functionality in ...more »
Hi I think adding Microsoft Office 365 to the list of integrations (alongside Google Drive and Box etc.) would significantly increase the capability of Signavio Workflow Accelerator. Most organisations use Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) to manage data and information. Many are moving to the Office 365 platform also. Version 11.10.0 now has the 'Same size' function. Can we also have a 'select by type' function? That way, all objects of a type e.g. 'data objects' can be made the same size across the model.
Having the ability to create user-defined reports which include custom attributes would really leverage the power of the dictionary and enterprise architecture functionality. For example, we have added 'process owner' and 'process manager' as custom attributes and we would like to be able to search and report on these attributes.
The Collaboration Hub could be made even more useful if users of it could see the simulations and substitutes their own figures.
I may be using this incorrectly, but... If a dictionary item is created and then utilised in a process model, the text can be quite long. If a user then tries to tidy this up in the model by word-wrapping by entering carriage returns in the text, Signavio reports an error that indicates that the name of the object and the dictionary item do not match. This could be alleviated by ignoring carriage return characters ...more »
